Which startups we are not looking for?

Do you have any doubts about your startup fitting to PERRY TALENTS? Read our NINE expectations and become acquainted with our criteria.

1.

STARTUPS, WHICH ARE ONLY AN IDEA

Do you have your idea on the paper, but you haven't started yet? Thousands of great ideas often just stay ideas and they are never carried out. That's why you should start today and we will be glad to see how far you have come next year!
2.

STARTUPS, WHICH DO NOT HAVE A STABLE TEAM

Does your team function without hierarchy and clearly defined competences? Every teammate should have his own role, based on his skills and expertise. Ideally, startup should have clearly identified leader with teammates expert in specific segments.
3.

STARTUPS WITH UNIDENTIFIED NEEDS

Vague and ambiguous statements won't tell us anything. Be specific and clearly define your expectations. It is essential for you to understand your expectations from our accelerator and where you want to see your startup in few years.
4.

STARTUPS, WHICH WORK ON SEVERAL PROJECTS

PERRY TALENTS is a 9-month accelerator program. During this period, experts will invest many hours and energy into your startup. In return, they expect you to invest your time effectively and focus only on your startup. Set your priorities straight.
5.

STARTUPS, THAT ARE NOT KEEN ON EDUCATING

Education is one of our main pillars, offering workshops and expert network of mentors and lecturers. They will devote their time to pass on their experience. We expect you to be eager to learn something new all the time. If you do not perceive this pillar as important, consider if our accelerator program is suitable for you.
6.

STARTUPS WHO ARE NOT WILLING TO GO ONE EXTRA MILE

In business it is crucial to do more than others. To stay longer in work, not to be afraid to ask for help, to proactively contact mentors and lecturers. But most importantly to be truly excited for your “thing” and systematically move your startup forward. Last year's experience has shown, that startups with this attitude developed much faster and attracted investors in the end.
7.

STARTUPS, WHICH DON'T KNOW THEMSELVES

Try to answer the following: What is your team good at? Do you know your weaknesses? Can you define what are you missing? It is also a part of creating a strategy. That's why we expect a high level of self-awareness from you.
8.

TEAMS, WHO DON'T WANT TO WIN

We see winning as trusting yourself and your team. Not being afraid to risk on your journey, take every crisis as a new challenge, analyse every failure to learn from it. Are you ready for that?
9.

LEADERS, WHO DON'T WANT TO “LOOK BEYOND THE DANUBE”

We can move Slovakia forward also by developing global businesses. Is your startup scalable also for foreign markets? Before you apply, clarify also expansion possibilities.
